United Wholesale Mortgage

This office expansion project for United Wholesale Mortgage, the nation’s largest mortgage lender, is the product of converting a warehouse into a massive, modern office space. It incorporates traditional office spaces with a sprawling collection of mezzanines, public and private spaces, and interactive features. 

The container area was used to frame two stacks which house office spaces, conference rooms, a small gift shop, library and other uses. Between the two stacks of containers is a large podium which provides office space above and below.

The design features a second level concrete and third level concrete deck on top of containers: our first container ramp up to the podium, a second level fireman’s pole to slide to the lower level, and a cargo net lounge on the second level where workers can lay back and relax during breaks!
