Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church

We are excited to reveal the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and Community Center located in Albion, Michigan. This project led by The Reverend Bobby McKenzie & his congregation, who came to us wanting to upgrade their place of worship by building a brand new church that would provide much needed expansion and support for the surrounding community.

The church is designed utilizing a hybrid approach of shipping container and steel portal frame construction at approximately 45,000 sf.

With the community at the heart of the expansion, one of the most important aspects of the new building is the multiple separate congregation areas: the main sanctuary with a second floor balcony will be the new home for the members of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. However, there are 2 additional chapels that are designed with the intent to be rented out by other churches or congregations as well as a fellowship hall complete with a full-size MHSAA basketball court and performance stage; ultimately allowing space for more than one service to be held at any given time.

Along with the chapels and main sanctuary, there is a massive center courtyard that connects the church with the fellowship hall. There are also multiple classrooms, a nursery, two apartment suites, a conference room, a commercial kitchen, and offices for all leaders of the church.

The Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church is a massive project that we are ecstatic to be a part of and we can not wait for the Albion community to enjoy their new place of worship.
