Casa Del Mar

Casa Del Mar is a duplex container home located in Nags Head, North Carolina. It's the first residential shipping container home in Outer Banks! The duplex rental home consists of two units in total. The first unit is a two-story, 1,920 SF home with three bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths. The second unit is a three-story, 2,238 SF unit with four bedrooms and four-and-a-half baths. To maximize space on a long but narrow lot, the two units were designed in two C-shaped setups with connection in the center. In total this project comes in at 4,158 SF consisting of a total of fourteen containers.
