Scott Shall, RA, is a registered architect with over 25 years of experience and co-founder of houm PLLC, where he advances modular housing innovation alongside his consulting role with Three Squared, Inc. He is also a Professor of Architecture at Lawrence Technological University, where his teaching emphasizes sustainability, fabrication, and socially responsive design.
In 2006, he founded the International Design Clinic (IDC), a nonprofit that has completed over two dozen projects across five continents, engaging communities in need through creative, collaborative action. His early career included designing amusement park environments for Six Flags, Dollywood, Kennywood, and NASA, experiences that expanded his design perspective and reinforced his ability to create spaces rooted in both function and joy.
Beyond architecture, Scott is passionate about travel and the outdoors. He has visited over 30 countries and enjoys hiking, camping, backpacking, and gardening, while also valuing time with family. His life and work reflect a balance of global perspective and grounded connection, bringing depth and vision to every project he takes on.
